Wine Country Barrel Racers Our intent is to have quality barrel races that are fun for all and to give quality year-end awards. We have already seen a great response to the races we have put on and the club membership continues to grow. Let's keep it going! Our races are at the Casner Ranch, located in Temecula CA. | Entering We will be closing entries 1 hour after the open starts, so that we can have a quick and efficient payout. Entries for Novice, Senior and Youth that are not carry overs will close on the last 10 runners in the open. Example: 100 entries in the open at rider 90 Youth, Senior and Novice entering will close. We will accept checks if you are a member but cash is appreciated. We would like to pay out in cash as it seems people prefer that. You must run in 3 open races as a member to be eligible to run at the finals. You must pay your membership by July's race to be eligible for year-end awards. Payout We will be using a payout that will ensure the last hole in the 4-D receives close to their entry fees back. The payout will be a 70% payout. We also prefer that you pay your entry fees in cash, so we can pay out in cash. General Rules We are asking that everyone abides by basic Barrel Racing Rules. Good sportsmanship and conduct are required. Absolutely no abuse to any animal will be tolerated. Boots are required, helmets mandatory for the youth under 10. You must run in 3 open races as a member to be eligible to run at the finals. You must pay your membership by July's race to be eligible for year-end awards. WCBR Rules.
